The sculptural pavilion has the intent to interrupt the over abundance of movement in Vanderbilt Hall as they enter the space. The purpose is to improve the atmosphere through purification and balancing energy with amethyst and himalayan salt crystals. These power hold crystals will act as an air purifier; collecting contaminated water molecules from the immediate air and locking into the crystals.

FORM FINDING
The geometry of a geode, which is a rock that contains hollow cavities lined with crystals. The process of a geode starts when groundwater seeps into a rock that has air pockets. The formation starts when the water evaporates, leaving the minerals behind creating crystals inside of the geode.
The project translation is simplified into lines and planes.
Triangular geometry was formed through the previous translation. The exterior was carved away from the site constraint into these forms. The interior structure was taken from the points previously from the geode shape and brought down to touch the ground floor or elevated above the ground.
The beauty of amethyst and himalayan salt crystals are being showed cased at the entrance of the pavilion.
